One of the things about being a swap mama is that if things go wrong you need to make an item for one of the participants if by chance circumstances prevent their partner from doing so. Now I am not sure about whether or not I will be needing to post this out, but just in case I have made another pouch.
|
Some grey linen (thanks, Hadley) and a mix of text prints, greens and yellows. |
|
A bit of hand stitching. |
|
My zip ends are improving. |
|
And a split pocket inside. |
I made this yesterday and surprised myself with what I could accomplish if I actually just got on with it. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Because if this is what I can do under pressure, just imagine how much I could get made if I just pulled my finger out more often. Scary!
Susan
It's a beauty - and your Mama matching skills are second to none!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely pouch Susan, super colours. I know what you mean about actually doing stuff, sometimes I seem to spend so much time thinking and not doing..............

ReplyDeletelove the grey and the yellows together. If you don't ever need to send it out,I will happily take it off your hands :-) I would never have thought about having to make a 'just in case'.
