Pay It Forward

I have decided to join in a little niceness - namely Pay It Forward. I put my name down on the lovely Catherine's blog - Sew Wonderful Life when she posted about this. She is going to make me something and in return I will follow these rules -

How does it work?
  1. I will make a little something for the first 3 people who comment on this post. It will be a surprise and it will arrive when you least expect it.
  2. I will have 365 days to do it in. What's the catch? To get a handmade present from me, you have to play too! This means YOU pledge to send a little handmade something to 3 readers of your blog. It doesn't have to be quilty - just handmade.
  3. You must have a blog.
  4. Once you receive your "little something", you must post about your Pay it Forward on your blog to keep the fun going - be sure to use the Pay It Forward badge.
Since I am a new blog and don't necessarily have a lot of readers I thought I would add in a little something extra. The first person to comment who doesn't have a blog I shall make something for too (obviously they do not have to make anything for anyone else). So I am hoping that I find three bloggers - and one non - out there who would like to be involved. I have no idea what I will make you but will do my utmost to make it nice - and not to take 365 days to make the gift - promise.

Well, that's all I have to do - unless I get some comments. I shall wait and see what happens.

Susan

  2. I hope being a new visitor I can join in...I've been hoping to join a pay it forward for sometime and how absolute perfect that it would be on your blog. I found you through the Brit flickr group...I too am a Canadian import living in the Midlands! I've been here 10 years.
I've been reading some of your posts and particulary identified with your post about your "career" choice. I too am a stay at home mom and damn proud of it. Maybe it's our Canadian roots :o) ...blame it on Mr. Dressup! LOL
I always get excited when I find other Canadians in the UK and even better when they are a fellow quilter. :o)...hope to hear from you soon.
