That wonky star. I fell in love with it and there has been no looking back since. I have tried to concentrate on other things but it's impossible. My mind keeps coming back to it. I want more. Now! So, today I went about satisfying my craving.
I turned my back on crazy blocks, the lovely Pips, etc. and took all this - which I could have sworn I had previously ordered into separate colour piles -
And I started creating -
This little constellation is just the start. I still have the paler greens, the reds, the oranges - but I have begun on what will become my next quilt top.
Funny how simple things can make me happy. Good thing too because I had a tiny moment of chocolate guilt when this big eye looked at me with such pathetic anguish after I ate the ears -
Oh, but I got over that soon enough!
Susan
lol my little gold bunnie had the same fate! Love your blocks, such beauties, what size have they finished at? Just curious :)
ReplyDeleteYou have to stop with the chocolate bunnies! It's not fair! I want one now!
ReplyDeleteLoving those stars by the way.
Deborah

ReplyDeleteOh they are brilliant - great idea, I love them.
ReplyDeleteLovely stars! you could keep going and go for a king size quilt!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love using scraps and this is a fab way to use them. Did you follow a tute or are you going to write one? Jxo
ReplyDeletePretty blocks...I love how you've made them all one colour...I like them better than the ones that are really scrappy. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
ReplyDeleteOoooh very nice stars Susan - that is going to be such a fun quilt!
