Playing With Fish

I've just been having a play with my new fabric and thread. No great creations, just one wee small one. A needle book.

          Front...                                                             Back...                                                            Inside.

It is only now that I have finished it that I realise I haven't top stitched the edges before sewing the seam to fold it in half. Oh well, I'm not ripping out any stitches. I like it how it is well enough.

  9. Very lovely - they're like little framed pictures. Isn't it funny how just a few posts ago you were embroidering a little gold fish, and now you have your own HR goldfish in bags!

  10. Great idea. I love those colours. That deep rich orange is the colour making my fingers itch at the moment. Every time I see it in fabric or yarn form I want to play with it.

  13. Don't go near the plastic bag with a seam ripper! You might kill off the fish!

  17. I agree, it is so cute. You could topstitch it with a little perle cotton now if you wanted to.
