Why?

Why does Google mess with our settings somehow? Why am I a reply blogger one day and a no-reply blogger the next. Why, in my efforts to get things to work has freaking Blogger reverted to the old interface and how do I get it back to the way it was before? Why does Google Blogger make me want to bang my head into a brick wall until I can't feel the pain any more? Why? Why? Why?

I am annoyed, fed up and lost in Google going in circles and unable to get back to the happy place I once was in. I am not enjoying this Google game at all!

But I did do some embroidery before Google took over my day.

If anyone knows more about this stuff than I do - please stop laughing and tell me what button to push, before I explode.

Susan

Edit: Google and I are speaking - not very cordially on my part - and on their part Google gave me back the updated interface. I think it is best I step away from the computer now. Because the question 'Why?' is still echoing around my brain.

  6. I know why! It happened to me. It is because you have changed your profile to Google plus. There is a way to correct it. Email me and I will send you the link that tells you how to do it.

  8. Blogger drives me mad too, and Google in general - it regularly deletes all the details we've painstakingly entered into various places for our business, which impacts really, really badly on our search engine results. It's to keep us on our toes apparently!

  9. I think google HATES us all but just cannot bring itself to tell us!! Keep smiling ... it drives it mad xx

  11. Why? Because they can, that's why!!

Your embroidery is fabulous - are you sure you want to send it to your partner? If you are I could do you a favour and test it out first to check it's up to snuff... *wink*

  20. After I read your post yesterday I had Queen in my head all day lol I was going to suggest something about fat bottomed girls but that would just be rude if you didn't get the reference :) as for google, I had the same thing. I think there were two problems. Having two gmail accounts and creating a google+ account. So I reverted my blogger account back to my primary/personal gmail, showed it in my blogger profile, removed my google + account from blogger and that seemed to fix the no reply blogger problem. Good luck! Drove me crazy! I know I had fixed it twice. I won't be surprised if it happens again.... To think of all those fabric giveaways I might have missed out on *sigh* ;)

  23. I dread the day Google messes me up, I haven't got a clue how to sort these things out!
    Hope it's behaving itself again.

  24. Love the phrase on the Tote - and beautifully stitched. I can't comment on google - it is all beyond me, my brain can't cope with it - it is bad enough when I have to update the Ipods and they all go mental and it takes me days to resurrect them (and this is only possible because we have 2 computers). In these cases I resort to chocolate. It's either that or a hammer, and I think I would regret the hammer more....

  25. We have all been there and it's not funny...but you are totally making me giggle! Love the stitching. It's the perfect saying :)

  27. I have been out of the blogging loop for over a week. I miss you and don't know what problems you are talking about since I have not been on the blog world much.
It's going to take me forever to catch up. I might have to hit the delete all button. UGH! I hate doing that

  28. You do the most amazing embroidery. You are one talented lady (and I use that term lightly).

  29. I try really hard to be friends with google/blogger at all times cos if there is a problem, I'm stuffed... not a clue whatsoever!

  30. So glad to see I am not the only numpty in the google/blogger stakes.
Mind you, at least you have managed to load bee buttons - I am yet to manage that!!

  34. I thin google was just doing crazy funny things for a minute. (Funny strange not funny haha obviously!) because I lost all my stats and they all went back to zero. Which kind of annoyed me.
The. The next day they were all back.
    Go figure...
