Line by Line

I've carefully centred the hexies onto some background linen, and machine appliquéd them down.


And now I have started some straight line quilting.


This is going to take a little while as I go at it, line by line.

    So relaxing, sewing those lines. I need to set up some quilting to balance all the piecing I am doing.

    Looks lovely! I'm with Diane, I did some straight line quilting yesterday and after the second line all I could think was 'Well this is boring'!!!

    Oh, so very pretty! And I watch Netflix on my phone when doing boring quilting. Nothing like Damon Salvatore to spice up some never ending straight lines.

    See unlike some I find quilting completely unrelaxing and piecing very relaxing. I love what you're doing but then you know that already :)
