My brain seems to think in epp these days. I see shapes and think, 'I could do a pattern like that with epp.' I am kind of epp obsessed. I am not sure this is necessarily a bad thing, but I am.
Of course epp is the perfect 'take with you when you travel' project. So I have my hexies with me and intend to return home with more than I went away with. Here is what I had before departure.
How many do you think I will come home with?
Susan
How long is a piece of string? Or more importantly- how long is your train journey? All of these are very pretty! And I can think of worse obsessions to have!
ReplyDeleteThose are great .. very lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to bet you didn't finish any because you were too busy having other kinds of fun.
ReplyDeleteYou could involve everyone on the train?
ReplyDeleteThese are looking great! I love the touches of red against the neutrals!
ReplyDeleteAre you counting the centres and the petals, whole hexies, enlarged hexies, combined hexies???????? ....waaaa, my brain is hurting already.
ReplyDeleteI betcha they are all gorgeous, however.
Ey are so pretty. Di x
ReplyDeleteOooo, pretty fabrics in a lovely pattern.
ReplyDeletelet me think ... you did the binding on the table mats, some stitching and lots of shopping ... I am sure there must be about 25 now or much more?
ReplyDeleteYou're having way too much fun with the your mum, the beach, antique/vintage markets and yummy food so the sceptic says 6 - hope you prove me wrong as they are gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteSince you have a lot of time sitting on the train I reckon loads! I wish I saw things in EPP like you do.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I've made my first step and paid 10% of my total fees and taxes, plus agency fees for my emigration plan. They think Hamilton will be a good match for my occupation (I was hoping to be on the Atlantic coast but I'll take what I get), just waiting til the end of next month when they release the approved occupations list, rumour has it I should be on there! I am crazy excited, and very glad they're doing all the hard work for me.
Loads!? I like the colours you've chosen.
ReplyDeleteWell now missus you are either going to come home with half a quilts worth to stun us, or you wont have touched them. I'm betting they dont get touched until your journey HOME on the train!
ReplyDeleteI think they'll be like rabbits and multiply rapidly! Hope you enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteWell you are the queen of hand sewing so I'd say an armful! jxo
ReplyDeleteI love the colours.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics here. Bet you will come home with a bag full!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, will you be in the hundreds by return time?? :o)
ReplyDeletesame amount unless you do some on the train you have way too much fun when you are away to sew :)))
ReplyDeleteWell, sewing time on the train.... you will have come back with a whole heap more!
ReplyDeleteI reckon 6, and you forgot to take them with you!
ReplyDeleteEnough to send me half???
ReplyDeleteI reckon 6 because you're too distracted having fun and then too knackered to work on them ;o)
ReplyDeleteoooh - maybe 6........too many things to do other than sew when you're on your holidays....
ReplyDeleteTons if you can keep the girls in the pool with your Mum ;-)
ReplyDeleteDouble or nothing!?
ReplyDelete67?
ReplyDeleteI love your EPP take on hexies. They are so cute!
I'm totally with you on this Susan, and loving how minimalist these look!
