So, only fitting to end the week on a more positive note today with my making. Though, that being said, I thought yesterday's hoop was hysterically funny. Sorry if you thought it was a bit grim.
Today I officially joined the Zakka Revolution.
A tiny bit of Heather Ross. |
And a splash of hot pink. |
I'm rather pleased with this. And it is as simple to make as everyone said. |
If you have left a comment in the past seven days and I have not replied, just give up hope. Today is a fresh start. I've tackled life and some of its occasional unpleasantness, had a word (or two) and we are moving forward from here.
Therefore I saved the best for last today. Because someone else in this household has caught the hoop mania. And it is Emily, who made one for me. I will treasure it always.
Susan
Aw, bless her - its fabulous
ReplyDeletekids things they make are the greatest. i know some people who should quilt so they wont kill people
ReplyDeleteWell done Emily! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you all the way... Today is the best day of the week and that's only because it's Friday. My boss came into my office today and I warned him that I was generally pi****. LOL he looked really scared.
ReplyDeleteI have two boys... Lovely, sweet and all that. But boys! What do you think it would take to bribe them to do an embroidery like your daughter's?
Fabulous Emily! Great pinny and pouch Susan! Enjoy sticking your pins with a big grin :) Sunshine and showers here tomorrow looks like it's gonna be a good'n!
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that sweet! And I loved your hoop of yesterday. Maybe you need one for your rear windscreen - and a matching t-shirt for visits to the bank.
ReplyDeleteOh bless her cotton socks! What a wee treasure! Glad you are getting some vitamin D at last! Jxo
ReplyDeletestarting early ... talented little girl xx

Oh my goodness, I love that hoop - what a clever little lady (like her mum). I'm sorry about your week. I've been away so am off to read backwards and see what's happened, and I'll probably leave comments but only if you promise not to reply to them all! xx
