Where Would You Rather Be?

At your machine quilting circles 1.5" apart, going round and round and round?

Or eating an ice lolly and discovering that the totally crap playground tucked behind the houses around the corner has just been transformed into something rather good?

I think you can guess what I went for.

And who went with me.

  1. Yup, I agree with you. The circles will still be there, driving you crazy long after the girls are in bed and you have all had a happy time...and an ice lolly! x

  6. Making hay while the sun shines, after all, you can quilt while it rains.. Lovely choice.

  19. Playgrounds in Britain are so much better than they ever used to be - looks great. Hope the jagged spiral is progressing nicely..

  23. See, I actually like quilting, it's more fun if it's a less monotonous design where you feel like you're going through the motions a bit after a white.

My soluble thread came so after this weekend I have no excuse not to quilt Wallander and then I'll probably be eating my words!

  28. Oh, I hate quilting pebbles, but they look awesome when they are finished. Yup, I would have been in the playground with my kids too.

  29. you must take a break and "smell the roses" once and a while. In this case it was probably smell the grass, but either way a lovely day.
