For once I am actually remembering to make a label and put my name on something that I have made. This might be a first. So I sat and stitched myself up today.
Looks lovely... My friend is looking into quilt history (of the everyday type quilts) and finds it very hard to find out when, where and by whom quilts are made. She claims EVERY quilt should ideally have the name and location/area of the maker as well as the date of finishing (even just a year would be great), and optionally info on why, for whom etc.
Thank you for leaving a comment. I read them all and I love them all. I do my utmost to reply to comments as often as possible. If you comment and never receive a reply from me there is the possibility that you are a no-reply commenter.

ReplyDeleteI always forget to label my quilts too. Love the embroidered signature!
