Signing My Name

For once I am actually remembering to make a label and put my name on something that I have made. This might be a first. So I sat and stitched myself up today.

Now just need to do the date, I think.

  2. This looks gorgeous. I really should label my quilts, or get some labels. Looking forward to seeing the 'labelled' quilt!

  5. Gorgeous! Did you mark it first or is that freehand? If it's freehand I've gone right off you ;o)

  11. Looks lovely... My friend is looking into quilt history (of the everyday type quilts) and finds it very hard to find out when, where and by whom quilts are made. She claims EVERY quilt should ideally have the name and location/area of the maker as well as the date of finishing (even just a year would be great), and optionally info on why, for whom etc.
