At your machine quilting circles 1.5" apart, going round and round and round?
Or eating an ice lolly and discovering that the totally crap playground tucked behind the houses around the corner has just been transformed into something rather good?
I think you can guess what I went for.
And who went with me.
Susan
Yup, I agree with you. The circles will still be there, driving you crazy long after the girls are in bed and you have all had a happy time...and an ice lolly! x
ReplyDeleteYep playground all the way!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a go in that swing!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
ReplyDeletemmmm, ice lollies!
ReplyDeleteSooo jealous! I was stuck in a hot office all day and would have given my eye teeth for an iced lolly!! Glad you had fun mitching off your quilting!
ReplyDeleteWell jealous - I have been auditing all day!
ReplyDeleteomg a swing my arse would fit on!
ReplyDeleteMaking hay while the sun shines, after all, you can quilt while it rains.. Lovely choice.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah!!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you made the right decision!
ReplyDeleteI'm with mamma fairy - cos lets face it there is no shortage of rain in this country!
ReplyDeletefun with the girls!! It looks brilliant :) YEAH for improved parks!!
ReplyDeleteWell I hope she gave you a push on that swing too - looks like that will be our destination next meet up :oD
ReplyDeleteGet out and enjoy that sunshine while you can. The circles will be there when you return!
ReplyDeletePark all the way! ! Although it's raining already here. Boo
ReplyDeleteThe sun mightn't be around for long and the quilting will wait. Great way to spend your time :-)
ReplyDeleteI vote playground all the way!
ReplyDeleteYou needed a break from those circles anyway - you dont want to get dizzy!
It takes a lot to drag me away from my machine! Jxo
ReplyDeleteThe playground looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteEither option sounds good to me! I've been glued to my books and laptop frantically trying to get an essay submitted. It's in now and I'm so looking forward to relaxing tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteI'm on the next plane...seesaws have been banned here.... which is such a shame...a rollicking good seesaw with my man brought on the birth of our first baby!
ReplyDeletePlaygrounds in Britain are so much better than they ever used to be - looks great. Hope the jagged spiral is progressing nicely..
ReplyDeleteCan I have the third choice, lie under a tree eating an ice cream, knackered.com! :o)
ReplyDeleteEither way I'd be getting dizzy??
ReplyDeleteI think I''l just stay sewing, if you don't mind!
ReplyDeleteSee, I actually like quilting, it's more fun if it's a less monotonous design where you feel like you're going through the motions a bit after a white.
ReplyDeleteMy soluble thread came so after this weekend I have no excuse not to quilt Wallander and then I'll probably be eating my words!
I love how that quilt is coming together, but I vote for the playground while the sun is shining.
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a fun playground. Surely the playground won!!!
ReplyDeleteA very wise choice ;D
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the right choice!
ReplyDeleteGood move indeed xxx
ReplyDeleteI love those swings! We have one at our park that we can all fit in :o) happy sunshiney days!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hate quilting pebbles, but they look awesome when they are finished. Yup, I would have been in the playground with my kids too.
ReplyDeleteyou must take a break and "smell the roses" once and a while. In this case it was probably smell the grass, but either way a lovely day.
