I Deserve a Medal for...

I had such a good laugh yesterday reading your comments about what my hoop might say. Really, you've all given me inspiration for dozens more hoops. Thank you.

But without further ado, this is what the latest hoop said.

And it has been gifted already. Ange - Heart of Charnwood - came and spent the day at my house today. It was brilliant. We talked. We sewed. We talked. We ate. We talked. We discussed fabric. We talked. (You get the idea.) Ange is absolutely lovely. Can't wait to get together with her again. A real live sewing buddy. Yay! Ange will be moving house soon and is to have a sewing room of her own. Every sewing room should have at least one hoop, shouldn't it?

Ange brought these baking books for me the girls. They are reading them right now. Apparently Emily wants to make Blueberry Muffins first. Or Tangy Rhubarb and Custard Muffins. They sound tempting.

A huge thank you to Ange for coming for the day. It has been an excellent day. I hope you all had an excellent day too.

Susan

  4. Thx for my fab hoop, it's already got pride of place in my "old" sewing space! It really was a lovely day, we didn't exactly run out of conversation on our first date, nearly 5 hours just flew by. And thx for the lovely lunch, I felt thoroughly stuffed on the way home. Lets do it again soon. x

  14. I have actually stabbes someone with a fork. Admittedly I was three and it was my little brother. I've never lived it down. He'd howl with laughter if he saw this.
