Small Accomplishments

Making things is sometimes the easy bit for me. Posting them to people seems to be much more difficult. Today I buckled down and spent the whole morning wrapping, sticking (stickers), writing (postcards), packaging and addressing. Then I went to the post office and upped their profit margin for January considerably. Remind me to post things as and when I make them in the future. I am sure it is less painful that way.

Then I did some quilting. I am so close to being finished. So very, very close.

  14. Certainly would prefer to be receiving than sending these! As if the financial pain is bad enough, filling out the customs declarations- ugh! Then the third degree from the post master suspecting an illegal trade in exotic birds or something!!!! Spare me! The quilting looks great!

  29. I hate to think of how much money you could have saved if you posted on Friday. Did the rates go up for you to ship to the US too? Is one of those for me with Annabella's block in it? I hope so.

  31. At least you remember to include the card that you have written a lovely message for your swap partner. I found the postcard that was supposed to go out in the last swap I was in, in the sewing room when I was tidying it up last week.
That is a huge amount of post, are you starting up your own parcel delivery service?
