No Two Alike

We all know that every snowflake is unique, no two alike. I have tried, on a much less grand scale than mother nature, to do that on my Christmas tablerunner too. Only the light is so pathetic right now that you would be hard pressed to tell.

I have to say, looking at these photos - I give up. I am not showing you another photo of this runner until the sun is shining and I can actually take a photo that doesn't make it look like the dogs dinner.

On a brighter note - I got a wee package from Fluffy Sheep today. Cindy has new things in stock. Namely some DMC Perle Cotton. I love me some perle, just in case you didn't realise that. Good thing she has it in too, as I almost used up my red perle on the runner but now I have a back up.

I originally went shopping to stock up on my Aurifil because Cindy does have the best prices for that. (And just about every colour under the rainbow too.) The perle cotton jumped into my basket when I wasn't looking. And that end of bolt cut of DS looked lonely so I thought it best that it come live with me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

  8. That's so funny as things jump into my shopping basket all the time too! As for snow flakes, living in Australia although we do have snow it is restricted and not like other places so I am no expert, but one day I will have a white Christmas!

  11. It doesn't look like a dog's dinner - now I can show you what a dog's dinner looks like. I don't believe you about the perle and fabric (quelle surprise) but I do love your snowflakes.
