Worse yet, I didn't finish them because of my own numptiness. I had to send to my August mama and ask for more fabric in one of the bees because I didn't check what the iron was set on and (whisper) I scorched a piece of the fabric. I feel so stupid! Either way you look at, I failed. Sob!
So there you have it, two sets of bee blocks - almost. We have retro flowers for Katy, Miss August in the Brit Bee Round Two.
I shall slink off into my corner now.
Susan
lovely blocks! never mind the iron incident ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe're all guilty of that mistake I think!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Time gets away with all of us I think, especially when we are out of routine. Whatever you do, don't ready my blog tonight then-I have been exceptionally prompt!!
ReplyDeleteOops! The rest of them look great though!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great....even the almost block.
ReplyDeleteThe more Grannies I see the more I want to make them. The blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteThere is always September. I am ok with the iron usually, the problem is for my husband afterward - who used it for his clothes (I only use for fabric)
ReplyDeleteOh those Olives and reds in the Granny block are superb. Really lovely, file to my memory for good combo :)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely though - the colours you used for the granny blocks are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOopsies x
ReplyDeleteCome out of the corner silly billy! I'm quite sure someone as lovely as you will be forgiven very swiftly. Happens so easily with the iron.
ReplyDeleteWith a public admission like that, what you hiding for? You're not the first and you won't be the last I'm sure! All the blocks look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIs this one of those times when it is okay to laugh at you ?
ReplyDeleteOh dear! The grannies are lovely and your curves are great.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both and I still have some to do!
ReplyDeleteAugust just happened too quick!
Don't feel too bad. I'm two months behind on mine! Well, almost. I actually caught up, but only a couple nights ago. I still haven't told anyone or taken a single picture.
ReplyDeleteSh*t happens. They all look fab to me :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry. We have all been there…it is so annoying though! Di x
ReplyDeleteBuggervabout the iron but the blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteI love my grannies, they are a total success. And everyone burns a fabric once in a while, although it feels bad when it is someone else's fabric. I stained bee fabric with my iron in July, maybe we have similar irons?
ReplyDeleteYou are the weakest link, goodbye... ;o)
ReplyDeletePS, fabric went postal yesterday...
No slinking! No slinking! You tried your best and made three GORGEOUS blocks. Number 4 will come soon enough. I'm with Leanne...it happens some times. Don't fret.
