Sewing in Good Company

I drove northwards today and visited Ange in her new home. Well, new to her and her family. We sat and decided on what were the most necessary house renovations, so when her other half comes home he can be informed that we have it all sorted and not to worry about these things himself. Most men do know this is the best way, don't they?

Ange cut hexie papers with my Go! Baby, and tested the theory that a Go! dye would fit in her Sissix. The answer was no, just in case you are curious.

Ange is not so fuzzy in real life.
Really!
Ange made a fantastically yummy salad for lunch, and then I sat and did some hand stitching on my Stitch Tease quilt. I have ten and a half white stars still to do, before I start on the background. Easy peasy (she says, with tongue in cheek).

And I looked at some of Ange's great library of quilt books. I am officially in love. With this book.

Do any of you have it? Given the choice I might still be at Ange's house admiring the quilts in it, drooling. But Ange grabbed her book back, and threw me out the house.

Joking! I had a lovely day, all courtesy of the loveliest of friends.

  23. The Go dies do fit if you hack them... but it basically means lobbing off a bit of the side ;) There's a tutorial online somewhere
