Few words. Some photos. Happy with my progress. English paper piecing rocks. I couldn't decide if I should make 'X's or 'O's. I did both.
Then I tried to channel Leanne when I quilted the linen. Whoever would have thought it would take effort to concentrate and remember to go wonky? I machine appliquéd the lozenges to the linen after I did the quilting. Remind me that I am probably going to need bifocals if I keep this up.
And that is what I got done today. I think I shall spare you the laundry, tyre mending, crap to the tip, grocery shopping boring bit. Far more fun to look at paper piecing. Well, it is in my world at least.
Susan
awww, I wanna see the LAUNDRY!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete;-)
You know what? I love going to the tip. I know, wierd.
ReplyDeleteLoving the pouch...
I am just imagining you in all those different scenarios now; laundry lady with apron, curlers and scarf on head; oily overalls whilst tyre mending; flinging crap on the tip and then spruced up yummy mummy trip to the store ;0)
ReplyDeleteAnd while you are out, I will sneak and steal this item of utter gorgeousness! I am going to have to make me some of those lozenges now!
I hate the tip, I always feel extra short there!
ReplyDeleteLove the lozenges though, but you're right, they are a bit hard on my eyes - and my joints too (even though I'm only 26 not 76 as it sounds!)
So pretty Susan and love the little bow tie in the centre!
