Eight 7" paper piecing blocks finished. Seam ripper used about a dozen times, which for me is a pretty successful paper piecing session.
Looks like tonight will be spent ripping out paper. That's okay. I'm glad to have got these done successfully.
Susan
Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe ripper may have gotten a work-out, but the finished blocks look fab!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I have my minions rip paper out, their small fingers make it easy! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the colours you have used. If you rip the paper off at wine o'clock it seems to make it a more tolerable job:)
ReplyDeleteThese look super! Worth all the effort after all!
ReplyDeletevery nice. they look great!
ReplyDeleteThey. Look. Awesome! Oh, Susan, you hit these out of the park. Glad you still have your sanity. xx
ReplyDeleteThey look really cute! I have a love hate relationship with paper piecing, love it when it you flip it back and it fits, hate it when I've gotten the angle wrong! I quite like ripping the paper though!
ReplyDeleteDo you like it any more now? Oh and that daisy fabric! Do you know what it's called so I can track it down?
ReplyDeleteThey look splendid! Yeah, paper piecing can be frustrating, but it gives such crisp, accurate results.
ReplyDeleteOK! . . . . It was so worth giving your brain a work out . . these are lovely!
ReplyDeleteRipping out the paper is the best part. Using vellum paper is the best advise I've ever gotten for paper piecing.
