Done

The last piece was sewn on. The papers were plucked. And then the back was inspected for all the papers I missed. It happens!

Then I took it outside for some photos. A bit of a challenge.

But it doesn't matter because it is finished. Other than the basting, quilting, trimming and binding that is. Small details.

  2. Wind is the enemy of quilt photo shoots, huh? But it turned out so awesome! How are you going to quilt it?

  3. Oh, it's a beauty! I knew it would be but it's stunning even when it's flapping in the wind! It must be a relief to have one stage completed. Have you got time to enjoy the quilting (I hope there's going to be some perle making an appearance?!) or do you just need to get it done?

  11. It's brilliant - I love those diminishing circles. I admit when I saw that single dark hexie many posts ago that i thought you had flipped. Might have known there was a master plan.
Oh, and we had your lemon drizzle cake this week, yum.

  17. It's fabulous! I made a hexie baby quilt last year, and it nearly killed me, so fair play!
