I am pruning bushes. Having lunch with friends. Reading books. Enjoying the sunshine. Really, really enjoying the sunshine. Going to see the girls in their dance show. Tomorrow will be their Musical Theatre Society show.
I'm doing stuff. But not stuff that I can blog about really, not without boring you senseless. Well, you might like photos of the girls dancing but they have reached 'that age' where they are no longer keen to be blogged very often. I have to respect that. It's a shame, because they were always good for fun posts when the sewing stuff was sparse.
So back to the sunshine, lunches and friends. I did that again today.
It was an amazingly nice, laughter filled day. Nothing to complain about here. Just not much to show you temporarily. Normal service shall commence soon. Promise.
Susan
yeah, we should keep the kids at the wanting to be in photo stage for ever, for that if nothing else. Looks like a nice cotswold town, hard to beat on a sunny day
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the down time. Rest , relax, recharge and come back with other tales to keep us amused.
ReplyDeleteI find I feel the same about sewing in the summer. It's more appealing to sit in the sunshine, maybe with a nice glass of something cold :). The sewing will still be there when the sun is gone.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful in your little part of the world.
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny. I wish you had big pictures and shared about that fairytale Harry Potter village you live in. Here in Canada everything is very new. I'm glad you are relaxing and getting out while the weather is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCan't think of anything better! Or a better place to have lunch with friends! X
ReplyDeleteLooks so nice - you deserve a break!
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize! Once I made the conscious decision to blog only the big stuff and save my time from blogging every little thing for the sake of an obligation to others, it was a remarkably freeing adjustment. I think most people enjoy the quick IG snippets of activity and appreciate a more in-depth blog post for the big finishes or announcements. All that to say, enjoy summer with your friends and family!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch inconsiderate children ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of your village. It's so different than the suburbs of Dallas where I live. I'd love to sit with friends and have lunch in that beautiful outdoor restaurant you've shown us!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous you're having such nice weather, but thrilled you're enjoying it so much.
ReplyDeleteHope the shows go well!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Also hope tomorrow goes, er, 'well' isn't an appropriate word but you know what I mean. Thinking of you all xx
Bugger the sewing and blogging, see you tomorrow xxx
ReplyDeleteNo point forcing a blog post anymore than sewing when you'd rather be doing some else! A change is as good as a rest and all that!
ReplyDeleteI'm finding it harder and harder to blog. But I wish the girls would let you blog about them. I miss their lovely faces.
